About Volunteer Foundation Nepal (VFN)

Volunteer Foundation Nepal is a service oriented, non-profit making, non-governmental and non-political organization, registered in district administration office (Reg.No. 3295), District Development Committee and is affiliated with social welfare council (Aff.No. 32125). Volunteer Foundation Nepal provides emergency shelter home for orphans, victims of natural disaster, and children of conflict and children who were forced to live with their parents in the prison. Main purpose of the Volunteer Foundation Nepal is to provide helpless and needy children, especially those who lost one or both of their parents in the year of conflict, with the opportunity to have a proper life and to receive care and love. It aims to build bright futures for all the children by providing education and by preserving their rights and privileged.

Mission

With the assistance of volunteers we aim to provide a homely, supportive and safe environment for impoverished children. Give the opportunity to learn and grow so that they can become a part of the community and our society as a whole. In return the volunteers will gain experience and fulfillment. Volunteer Foundation Nepal has following objectives;

· Provide nest, to the homeless children in a secure and safe orphanage home.
· To make children mentally, physically healthy and to develop intellectual capability and provide proper education from pre-primary level to higher level.
· Conduct advocacy & fund raising activities to educate Nepalese society and foreign friends of Nepal about the case of orphaned & homeless children.
