Christie Love Center want to help orphans,the poorest children in Haiti, especially in Bois-Blanc. Since 2007, ours orphanage have working to better the life for the children. Over the past 6 months, we had a new local for our 27 children.
The Goal of our Staff
The goal all of those of us working on this project is to create a system that is sustainable and that at some point, years down the road, will be able to be self sufficient without money constantly pouring in from the outside. We want to empower the community in Bois-Blanc to help themselves, not create a situation of indefinite dependency. We understand that this is a lofty goal! But additionally, in the mean time, we are in need of a «band-aid» solution that will support this 27 young lives while we make strides towards a more sustainable solution. Sponsoring the orphanage is the best way to spread this burden out in the meantime.
Our Monthly Needs for our Kids
We need around USD 965/month to support the children with food, water, medical care (as the need arises), and for different needs that crop up at times. This comes out to USD 30 per child, per month… not a large amount of money! The money breaks down as follows:
-USD 20 for food
-USD 4 for medicine
-USD 5 for school
-USD 3 for water/clothes/miscellaneous orphan needs.
While the USD 20 for food will be spent every month, the other needs are divided up for the year… not every child needs USD 4 of medicine every month, but rather, that money will go into an account ear marked specifically for medical needs so that when a child gets ill, there is money to pay for treatment.

So like i told you, we are have an
orphanage with 27 children for now at a very poor location in Haiti.
Then, i was writting to you in order to ask you how you can bring your
help, cause we are facing to alot of problems surch as; 3 desks, 4
tables, reparing 3 toilets, foods and cloths. And we also need to enclose
our yard.
